Business Hours

-Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.

-We can, however, be reached during non-business hours for emergencies and/ or technical support.

 

Placing Orders

-All orders placed with us will be holds until confirmed.

-If a scheduling conflict should arise, Chesapeake Camera will notify the production and give them the option of confirming or canceling the hold.

-Rentals not canceled by 12 noon the day before check-out are subject to charges. Please give as much advance notice as possible when canceling a confirmed order. Cancelling a confirmed order is subject to charges.

-Leasee must have an account with Chesapeake

-Equipment must be used by qualified, experienced professionals.

 

Check-Out/ Return Policies

-Equipment may be checked-out after 12 noon on the last working day before your shoot.

-Equipment must be returned by 10:30am the morning after your shoot.

-Early check-outs and late returns are subject to additional charges.

-Pre-light days on which a camera is picked up before 12 noon are billed as half days.

-Chesapeake Camera will be more than happy to accommodate camera tests with any camera package rental.

 

Delivery/ Shipping

-Chesapeake Camera can arrange deliveries during non-business hours or outside the local area.

-Shipment of equipment for out-of-state productions can be arranged. The production must cover the cost of shipping.

-If Chesapeake Camera is asked by the production to ship sub-rented equipment, the production must cover all shipping costs and insure all items being shipped.

 

Payment/ Credit / Billing

-We accept American Express, Visa and Master Card. You may also pay by check or cash at check-out.

-On established open accounts, payment is due 30 days net from the date of the invoice.

-With approved credit, you may open an account with us. Ask for a credit application and please allow 2 week for processing.

-All prices are on a per day basis.

-Weekly and long term rentals are negotiable.

-Prices are subject to change without notice.

-A 20% surcharge may be added to all orders that do not include a camera body.

-Rental prices and payments do not apply to purchases.

-All orders are subject to the terms of the lease contract - located on the rear of the contracts.

 

Insurance

-The production must provide Chesapeake Camera with a valid certificate of insurance prior to equipment check-out. A facsimile may be sent to (410) 789-0896.

-The insurance certificate must include: All risk coverage that's greater than or equal to the replacement cost of all equipment used by the production, Dates of coverage that must extend through the time period for which the equipment is rented, Name and address of insured, Chesapeake Camera named as "Loss Payee" and "Additional Insured".

-A 10 day notice must be given to Chesapeake Camera if insurance is reduced or canceled.

Lost or Damaged Equipment

-If any item of Equipment is returned destroyed or not returned for any reason, the renter shall pay the cost of repair or replacement of any damaged or lost equipment. Daily rental rates will apply until equipment is replaced or received.
